The 2019 Todmorden Agricultural Society Educational Fund,
The Todmorden Agricultural Society Educational Fund has been set up to provide a financial support for any form of education or training where the applicant can demonstrate a connection with agriculture in all its trades, crafts or professions. Financial Assistance with outfits, clothing, tools, instruments, books or travel will be considered.
There are no age limits imposed on applicants.
The fund is aimed at people residing in Todmorden and the surrounding towns of Hebden Bridge, Mytholmroyd, Littleborough, Cliviger, Burnley, Bacup and Waterfoot.
The value of the award is normally between £150 and £200, depending on the number of suitable applicants.
Successful applicants must be available to assist with the delivery of and clearing up from the show on the weekend of June 15th 2019.
Cheques will be presented on show day, June 15th 2019.
Applicants must demonstrate, through their letter of application, a sound commitment to achieving their aims, for example by showing evidence of a training, education or research programme.
A connection with the show is desirable.
Applicants may be called for a short interview.
